is a highly experienced general surgeon, accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), with extensive national and international training and recognition in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery and liver transplantation. He serves as an HPB and Liver Transplant surgeon at Austin Hospital and holds the position of Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Melbourne.
Dr Perini specialises in treating both benign and malignant diseases of the liver, pancreas and bile ducts, by open or minimally invasive surgery. He is internationally recognised for his publications, research contributions and commitment to teaching. In addition to his surgical qualifications, Dr. Perini holds a PhD in Science.
